Here are a few photographs of Cocker Hill taken over the last month or two; they remind me of the gorgeous Autumn sunshine and warm yellow light. The warmth and sunshine seem long gone today.

Thank you for sharing these great photos of Cocker Hill. I am in the same fortunate position as yourself to live in such a beautiful place.
Will be looking forward to seeing more photos / stories of the area.
Hope to add some of my own soon.

Hi Den, great to hear from you. Look forward to seeing your photos. Love what you have done with your house. It looks fab!
I adore these pics of Cocker Hill, please keep them coming they are a delight
Thanks, it looks a bit bleak out there today, nice to look back on the “yellow” autumn pictures. I wonder if we’ll get snow this year. Steph/
I lived at number 45 from 74 to 83 as a child my friend Richard lived in the large house at the bottom of the last block I think it was the old vicarage great times
Thanks for your comment Jason – if you want to write a guest post about your memories of growing up on Cocker Hill I’m sure others would want to read it. Games you played, people you remember – were there any shops still on Cocker Hill then? Send me an email if you do – any photos you’d like to share would be appreciated too. All the best and thanks for getting in touch. Steph
I know this post is nearly two years old but I had.to comment nonetheless in hopes you will see it 🙂 First of all, I went to Cocker Hill today for the first time and fell onto this site while trying to learn the history behind it. I fell in love with this street that seemed to be so peaceful and blissfully unaware of the bustling town below. Simply gorgeous. And as the autumn is my most favourite time of year, I had to tell you that these pictures just bring out the beauty a bit more. Thanks for posting them!
Thanks for your comment. The street is lovely isn’t it, as you say near to the town but very quiet. You’ll have to pop back up when the leaves turn gold its gorgeous then, the previous photos don’t really do it justice. Nice to hear from you. All the best. Steph
